TIRSO CRUZ III – Kapamilya veteran actor Tirso Cruz admitted why he’s scared of Angel Locsin on set

ABS-CBN veteran actor Tirso Cruz III is considered one of the famous celebrities in the entertainment business.

Aside from acting, the 67-year-old celebrity also ventured into the music industry. He has released several albums including “TCIII,” “The Sound of Pip,” and “Pip Dimension” among others.

Tirso Cruz is part of the “The General’s Daughter” top-billed by Angel Locsin. He is playing the role of Santiago “Tiago” Guerrero.

Angel’s character ‘Rhian’ believes ‘Tiago’ is her real father. Tirso trained Angel to follow all his orders while Angel only wants is to win their love.

Tirso’s character in the tv series is loathed by the viewers. It seems that the veteran actor’s acting is effective.

Based on a report from PUSH, Tirso Cruz shared that some of Angel Locsin’s fans took his acting personally.

“Madalas, maraming nagagalit na followers ni Angel, pero hindi naman. Minsan nakakatuwa sa mall, bigla-bigla may hahampas sa shoulder mo, sasabihin, ‘Napaka-salbahe mo.’ Tapos bigla sasabihin, ‘Pakuha nga ako picture.’ Sabi ko, ‘O bakit papakuha ka picture?’ ‘Hindi alam ko naman sa show lang yun.’ ” 

“So basically, it really warms my heart na nakaka-apekto ako sa kanila,” he said.

According to the report, Tirso Cruz confessed that the “The General’s Daughter” lead star scares him.

“Si Angel, nakakatakot… I mean she evolves into something e kapag papasok na siya sa character,” he said.

The veteran actor explained he’s scared because Angel has a very opposite behavior without the camera.

“Kasi usually naman pagdating sa set ako, I go out of my way pupunta ako sa tent niya, minsan I greet her, minsan naabutan ko yan having lunch or dinner with other staff… Ano siya, she’s so lovable, she’s so sweet, she looks after everybody,” said Tirso.

Based on the report, Tirso Cruz III said Angel Locsin is so professional and a great actress.

“Pero kapag trabaho na, talagang nag iiba siya, nag-iiba din ‘yung character niya right before your eyes nag transform siya into Rhian, then after that biglang pag turn si Angel naman,” he said.
