Flooding in Bacolod City Questioned by Upset Citizen After Massive Rehabilitation Last Year

An upset citizen questioned the flooding in Lacson Street, Bacolod City after conducting a massive rehabilitation last year.

Massive flooding is one of the major environmental problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries around the world.

Congested sewerage and lack of flood control system are only some of the factors that cause flooding and inconvenience to the public.

Recently, the Facebook page “Citizens for Better Bacolod” has shared the photos of massive flooding in Lacson Street, Bacolod City posted by “Choco Na Patatas”.

In the photos, it can be seen that the vehicles passing the street submerged into flood waters.

Last year, several streets in Bacolod City underwent a massive rehabilitation with the aim to improve the flood control system in the area.
