Vico Sotto Reacts To “Dayaan” Allegation From Rival Robert Eusebio

Here’s the reaction of Vico Sotto to the “dayaan” allegation from Robert Eusebio

Pasig City mayor-elect Vico Sotto reacted to the “dayaan” allegation from his rival and outgoing mayor Robert Eusebio.

Supporters of the Eusebio gathered in front of the city hall during the time that the Board of Canvassers proclaimed the incoming mayor.

They were demanding for a manual recount as they believe that cheating happened during the 2019 midterm election.

The outgoing mayor strongly believes that the people of Pasig knew who really won and that he is willing to fight for that.

“Kami ay maglalatag ng protesta laban sa pangyayari dito sa Pasig. Gusto naming maging malinaw dahil alam ng tao kung sino binoto, alam ng tao rin kung sino ang nanalo,” Eusebio said in a previous report.

In line with this issue, Vico Sotto was asked to react during an interview on ANC.

“If it’s true and if he will push through that, nakakatawa naman. Sila ‘yong incumbent, hawak nila ang ballot boxes,” the 29-year old politician said.

He added that his opponent has the right to complain but it is time for them to move forward.

The son of prominent showbiz personalities Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes also said that he is willing to work with his rival so that they will have a smooth transition in their local government.

Amid the “dayaan” allegation, Vico shared that he already reached out to people belonging to the camp of his opponent.

He also said that he is ready to write a letter to Eusebio, if it is needed, saying that he is willing to work with him.
