John Lloyd Cruz joked about letting him a part of “Home Sweetie Home”
Kapamilya A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz said a joke to comedian Bayani Agbayani as he said, Isama mo kaya ako sa taping ng Home Sweetie Home“.
Lloydie was part of the original cast of the Kapamilya sitcom with Toni Gonzaga as his onscreen partner.
However, he took an indefinite leave of absence amid the rumors linking him to sexy actress Ellen Adarna, who was also a cast member of the sitcom.
In his absence, the show let other Kapamilya stars fill in the gap. After sometime, the management decided to reformat the show, letting some members of the old cast stay while accepting new ones.
Currently, Bayani Agbayani is one of the cast members. He and Lloydie were able to meet again during the private dinner at the Malacanang Palace.
In a previous report, Bayani revealed that the A-list actor got worried during the said event. It is because they were not allowed to bring there mobile phones. John Lloyd Cruz was worried that he might receive an emergency call concerning his baby and he will npt be able to answer it.
During a recent interview, Bayani also ahared how excited she was to see Lloydie again. He said that they had a conversation and the drama actor even joked about asking to be part of Home Sweetie Home.
“Nagbiro pa siya. Sabi niya, ‘Isama mo kaya ako [sa taping ng Home Sweetie Home]?’ Kasi nagti-taping kami nun. Itinigil yung taping kasi apat kaming mawawala, e—si Toni, si Alex, ako, tsaka si Vhong,” the comedian shared.
All the Kapamilya stars that Bayani mentioned attended the private dinner. Then, he shared that he told Lloydie they stopped taping for HSH for the event.
“Sabi ko, ‘Lloydie, nagti-taping kami. Tumigil lang kami, nagti-taping kami ng Home Sweetie Home.’ Sabi niya, ‘Ano kaya kung sumama ako tsaka itong si Ellen, tapos sabihin ko, Eto na ‘ko!’” the comedian said.
“Pero nagdyu-joke lang naman,” he added.
When asked how is Lloydie, Bayani said that the A-list looks so happy, based on the report from PEP.
“Happy, happy si Lloydie. Tsaka siyempre, may anak na, e. Ang sarap-sarap magkaanak, e. Tsaka happy rin kami sa kanya,” he said.
Regarding the much-awaited showbiz comeback of John Lloyd Cruz, the comedian said, “Wala naman siyang sinabi. Binibiro lang niya ako na sasama daw siya pagbalik sa set.”
