Imee Marcos’ Senatorial Standing In Bicol Earns Cheer From Bicolanos

The senatorial standing of prominent female politician Imee Marcos in Bicol earned united cheer from the Bicolanos.

It is known to many that Imee came from the famous political clan in the Philippines – the Marcoses.

Her father is Ferdinand Marcos was a president of the country and her mother, Imelda and brother Bongbong also entered the world of politics.

She previously received a big round of criticisms when people started to question the credibility of her curriculum vitae. Imee stated that she went to Princeton University and the University of the Philippines College of Law.

However, critics have shown evidence contradicting her claim.

It is also known to many that there are people who are still criticizing the Marcoses because of the Martial Law.

A Bicolano netizen showed that his province “continues to reject the Marcoses”.

Twitter user @raffymagno showed the senatorial standing of Imee Marcos in their province.

The ranking showed that the female politician did not enter the “magic 12”.

Camarines Norte – 21st place
Camarines Sur – 24th place
Catanduanes – 23rd place
Masbate – 18th place
Sorsogon – 24th place

Several Bicolanos agreed to this statement of Raffy Magno while those who came from other provinces said that they hope this will also happen to their hometowns.

However, several supporters of Imee Marcos replied that Bicol is not just the province in the Philippines while others defended the senatorial candidate.

    after all,bicol is not all of the Philippines and majority of voters is outside of bicol😊
