Several vote buying incidents have been exposed and reported by concerned individuals recently. It is only just that these attempts should be reported to alleviate it’s bad effects in the long run.

A concerned netizen exposed an alleged vote buying incident in Iloilo City a few days ago.

And just recently, in Iloilo City, a concerned citizen showed up at Cabatuan’s Police Office to turn over 20 envelopes each containing 500 peso bill and a sample ballot.

Cabatuan Police confirmed that the man who turned over the envelopes was the same man who was tasked by a candidate’s camp to distribute the paraphernalia.

In a conversation with Bombo Radyo, Cabatuan Municipal Police Station’s Police Captain Sullen Domingo reported that the man personally approached their office because of his conscience.

This is according to a Facebook post by Bombo Radyo Iloilo.

A photo of the alleged vote buying paraphernalia was posted in their page and netizens had various reactions.

The post quickly spread on social media gaining more than 800 reactions and has been shared more than 200 times just three hours after it was posted.
