MIAA Warns Public On Overpriced Transport Rate Card
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) warned the public regarding the overpriced transport rate card and showed the rate approved by LTFRB.
Nowadays, many Filipino commuters were complaining about abusive taxi drivers charging additional fee for an unjustified reason.
Several taxi drivers were charging an additional fee to their passengers without any valid reason, which is considered as a law violation.
Recently, MIAA raised the awareness of the Filipino commuters regarding the overpriced transport rate card.
The overpriced transport rate card was allegedly used by abusive taxi driver to take advantage of their passengers.
MIAA also posted the rate approved by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Here is the Airport Accredited Regular Taxi Service Meter Rate:
- P2,500 – Terminal 1
- P2,400 – Terminal 2
- P2,300 – Terminal 3
- P2,300 – Terminal 4
- P2,500 – Any part of Metro Manila
- P2,300 – All hotels/bus terminal in Metro Manila
Violating airport policy is subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties.
