The weather agency said that the low-pressure area was last spotted at 160 kilometers north northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

The LPA’s trough would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Mindoro provinces, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the rest of the country.

The weather bureau also advised the public to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
