Still Unidentified Persons “Ambushed” Cebu Municipal Government Ambulance
CEBU MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT AMBULANCE – Still unidentified persons “ambushed” an ambulance in Cebu.
A lot of alarming incidents are happening lately. One of them is the recent incident which transpired in Cebu.
Based on a recent report on Inquirer, still unidentified persons “ambushed” a Cebu LGU ambulance while it was along the adjacent city of Naga on Monday night.
Specifically, the emergency vehicle involved in the incident belongs to San Fernando Municipal Government. It brought a patient to Cebu City and, unexpectedly, on its way back, the incident happened.
According to Naga City Police Chief Major Jason Villameter, still unidentified men aboard a white van shot at the ambulance. The vehicle was carrying four(4) passengers.
Based on the report, the incident left one(1) of the four(4) passengers of the ambulance was left wounded.
Currently, the investigation is still ongoing. The authorities are not putting off the possibility that the incident is election-related as the passengers are the supporters of San Fernando Mayor Lakambini Reluya who was also “ambushed” in January.
