Legazpi Court Orders Arrest of Mayor Carlwyn Baldo
MAYOR CARLWYN BALDO – The Legazpi Court ordered the arrest of Daraga, Albay Mayor Carlwyn Baldo.
One of the alarming incidents that happened in December 2018 is the death of AKO Bicol Representative Rodel Batocabe. During a gift-giving in his hometown in Daraga, he and his men were attacked.
At least six(6) people reportedly attacked Batocabe and the AKO Bicol Representative did not survive the incident. He is supposed to run for the mayoralty position in his hometown in Election 2019.

Recently, an update regarding the case crossed the surface.
Based on a recent social media post on the Facebook page of Manila Bulletin, the Legazpi Regional Trial Court Branch 10 ordered the arrest of Mayor Baldo.
The arrest of the Daraga, Albay Mayor is related to the Batocabe death case and as well as the death of SPO2 Orlando Diaz. Based on the post, Diaz is the police escort of the late AKO Bicol Representative.
As of this writing, there are still no further information regarding the order of the court. We’ll keep you posted for updates.
