Ben Tulfo has this answer to Ogie Alcasid
Veteran journalist Ben Tulfo answered to the remark of OPM icon Ogie Alcasid in order to defend his wife Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Previously, Regine has a negative comment to the Twitter post of Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teddy Locsin, Jr. regarding the poaching of giant clams.
The comment from the female singer earned a negative reaction from Tulfo.
He said that the Asia’s Songbird in not fit to comment to this kind of issue and that it is more appropriate for her to focus on her singing career.
“Ang mensahe ko sa ‘yo, Regine Velasquez, next time you open your mouth, think. Make sure na may laman ang utak mo. Make sure alam mo yung isyu and you can talk about it,” the journalist said.
As the husband of the Songbird, Ogie Alcasid fired back to Ben Tulfo to defend his wife.
“Sir @bitagbentulfo . I offer my cheek to you. After you have maligned my wife I ask that you focus on me. She is after all a lady. God bless you sir,” the OPM icon said.
This tweet from Ogie received a reply from the journalist.

“I am not here to hurt anyone. I am talking with sincerity and truthfulness. this is a serious issue. Tell your wife to focus on her career. Please, not Foreign relations and issues. I do respect you and your wife.”
