Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today.

On Thursday (February 28, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the possible weather condition.

PAGASA said that the northeast monsoon would continue to affect the weather condition over some parts of the country.

The northeast monsoon would bring partly cloudy weather condition with isolated light rains over the Eastern Visayas .

The weather agency said that partly cloudy skies are expected over the rest of Visayas Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro.

Partly cloudy skies are also expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Severe Tropical Storm Wutip was last spotted at 1,750 kilometers east of central Luzon still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Wutip has maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 135 kph moving 15 kph at a west-northwest direction.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the extreme northern Luzon would be moderate to rough.

Slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions are expected over the rest of the country, according to the weather bureau.
