Along with her arrestment were the people who claimed to be the parents of the poor baby. It was also learned that “Joana” is still a minor.
The NBI Interpol chief Ronald Aguto stated that they are still investigating the issue and it’s possible that

“Baka kasama sila sa grupo na kumukuha ng mga nababalitang nawawalang mga bata sa hospitals natin,” he added.
Joana justified that she just wanted to help the people who wanted to have a child. The four arrested suspects violated the Republic Act 7610 in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act.
The NBI ward the public that those who are adopting a newborn child from illegal modus are also subject to face charges.
