It can be recalled that for sometime, Diego was not seen on the drama series. This is following his alleged suicide attempt.

Rumors about this started to circulate on social media and news site back in November last year.

Following this, Diego reportedly skipped shooting for the series. Later on, reports said that he already gave up his role and flew to the US.

Amid the rumors and speculations, the camp of Diego Loyzaga kept their silence about the issue.

On the other hand, Marco Gumabao, one of his former co-stars in Los Bastardos revealed that he went through difficult times.

Because of his absence, his character needed to exit also. Finally, during an episode last December, it was shown that his character died in a plane accident.

Now, Joseph Marco enters the story. He will be included in the second chapter of Los Bastardos with Jake Cuenca, Albie Casiño, Marco Gumabao, and Josh Colet.

Joseph will be playing the role of Lorenzo along with the male lead characters of the Kapamilya teleserye.

The last soap opera that Joseph did in ABS-CBN was Wildflower featuring Maja Salvador as the lead actress.

The said defunct TV series ended last February 2018, so it is almost a year since he appeared in this kind of show, based on the report published on the site of Philippine Entertainment Portal.

Joseph Marco‘s character in Wildflower was Diego, coincidentally, he will replace Diego Loyzaga in Los Bastardos.
