Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA (January 12, 2019)

The state weather bureau PAGASA released the newest and the latest weather updates in the country for today (January 12, 2019).

On Saturday (January 12, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the possible weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the trough of a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) and the northeast monsoon would affect the country’s weather condition.

The low-pressure area located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 1,290 kilometers east southeast of Mindanao.

However, the LPA was not expected to enter the country’s vicinity and its chance to intensify into a typhoon is low.

The northeast monsoon would bring cloudy weather conditions with light rains over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Aurora.

Amihan would also bring cloudy conditions with light to moderate rainshowers in the eastern Visayas while cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers are also expected over the rest of the Visayas.

The trough of the low-pressure area would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the region of Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province would be rough, according to the weather bureau.
