Here are some photos of the large crowds of Filipino Catholic devotees who joined the Black Nazarene’s Traslacion 2019 yesterday (January 9).
On Wednesday (January 9, 2019), millions of Filipino devotees have joined the feast of the Black Nazarene.
The devotees trooped the annual Traslacion or the procession of the wooden statue from Intramuros to Quiapo as a part of Filipino culture and tradition.
The attendees attempted to touch or wipe a towel on the image of the Black Nazarene believing that it brings good luck and heals diseases.
Some of the devotees suffered major and minor injuries due to the massive numbers of people who joined the religious event.
