Actor, host, and comedian Roderick Paulate is one of the famous celebrities in the Philippines. He previously hosted tv shows like Singing Bee, Tonight with Dick & Carmi, and Vilma On 7 among others.

Roderick was also excellent drama acting. He standout on his tv series like Makita Ka Lang Muli, Munting Heredera, and Rosalinda.

Aside from being a great actor, Roderick Paulate was featured on comedy movies. Kuya Dick first portrayed as gay on the movie High School Circa ’65 directed by Maryo J. De Los Reyes.

A producer found his gay acting very funny and effective so he also gave him a lead role on the movie Tootsie.

Roderick Paulate later received numerous movies where he portrayed as gay. His great films include 1=1=12=1, Bb. Tsuperman, and Jack en Poy among others. He is also the one who influenced Pinoy actors Paolo Ballesteros, Allan K and Vice Ganda.

Meanwhile, one of the best gay movies of Kuya Dick titled Bala at Lipstick (1994) went viral on the internet. It was a scene on the police station where he was interrogated by two policemen.
