Miss South Africa is Tamaryn Green, who is one of the candidates in Miss Universe 2018.
Aside from being a beauty queen, she is also a model by profession.
She was born in Worcester, Western Cape to parents David and Ellirene Green. When she was 9 years old, her family moved to Paarl, South Africa.
Tamaryn is a medical student at the University of Cape Town and based on her Instagram profile, she is now on her 6th year in studying.
The highlight of her stint in the beauty pageant was when she was included
as one of the 28 regional qualifiers for Miss South Africa 2018 in April 2018.
Since the Miss Universe 2017 is Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters from South Africa, it might be a pressure for this year’s Miss South Africa to win the crown.
Tamaryn Green was hailed as one of the Top 10 in Miss Universe 2018, she is only a few steps away from the crown and title.
