Thai Fans Give a Nickname to Philippines’ bet for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray
MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – Thai fans gave a nickname to Philippines’ bet for Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant, Catriona Gray.
Filipino-Australian Catriona Gray represented the Philippines for Miss World 2016 and finished in the top 5 of the pageant.
Catriona once again exposed her beauty and confidence in joining the Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant. The most awaited event will be held in Thailand on December 17.
Catriona Gray’s national costume on Miss Universe 2018 represented the three main islands in the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
She has been doing so great since their preliminary performance and currently preparing for the big day which is on Monday.
Catriona Gray was recently featured at the Thailand TV show called ET. She was interviewed about her impression about the place and her co-candidates for Miss Universe 2018 pageant.
The Filipina said the Thai contestant Sophida “Ning” Kanchanarin and she were quite close and very accommodating.
“Ning has been an amazing host delegate…She’s been so friendly to all of us girls”
“It was so nice she’s been so approachable and loving,” she added.
The host told Catriona Gray that she has several supporters and fans in Thailand and they even got a nickname for her.
Catriona’s fans gave her a nickname in their own language “Luk Maew” which mean “Kitten” in Thailand.
The good host requested Catriona to imitate a kitten’s movement which made the host laugh at the Filipina’s cute movement.
