Catriona Gray Wears “LuzViMinda” National Costume for Miss Universe 2018
MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – The Philippines bet for Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, wore the “LuzViMinda” attire for the national costume competition.
Filipino-Australian Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray is a pageant contestant and model just like Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. She previously represented the country for Miss World 2016 and finishes at the top 5.
Catriona is the Philippines representative for the most prestigious pageant Miss Universe 2018 this coming December 17, 2018, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Following a previous article, Catriona Gray showed off her signature walk she called “Lava Walk” in social media.
Catriona’s signature walk is inspired by the Mayon Volcano which is a combination of sluggish and swift movement of lava.
Furthermore, Catriona Gray’s latest updates to her Filipino fans was her national costume for the much-awaited Miss Universe 2018.
Vogue Thailand Instagram account exposed the Bicolana’s patriotic-themed attire which is inspired by her beloved country’s three major islands: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“My outfit is inspired by the three regions of the Philippine,” said Catriona.
Catriona Gray’s Pintado styled dress was made by Jearson Demavivas who also created her Binibining Pilipinas costume. He referred Catriona’s costume as “LuzViMinda”.
“I have hand-made brass accessories, headpiece, and brass belt from Mindanao. The body suit is from Visayas…and my extra piece, which is over there, is from Luzon,” Catriona said.
On another video shared by Vogue Thailand, it can be seen that Catriona Gray had a huge extra piece attached on her back. The props looked like a Christmas lantern which added her cultural attire.
