Philip Salvador’s sister Alona Alegre dies
The sister of Philip Salvador, former daring actress Alona Alegre dies at the age of 70.
Alona is the daughter of comedian Lou Salvador and actress of LVN Pictures Inday Jalandoni. Her real name is Maria Lourdes Salvador.
She rose to fame during the 1970s along with other daring actresses during that time.
Coming from a prominent clan in show business, Alona also entered the industry.
She started her career in the Philippine entertainment industry when she was just 7 years old. Alona starred in the film Tagapagmana under LVN Pictures.
The former sexy actress also became one of Fernando Poe Jr’s leading ladies. They worked together in the movie Estaban which was shot at a resort in Barangay Tawala, Panglao, Bohol.
Since she was seen often times swimming on that beach, the place was named after her. Until now, it was said it is still one of the most-visited beaches on the said province.

After seven decades of her life, Alona Alegre bid goodbye to her loved ones.
Based on the article published in Philippine Entertainment Portal, Philip Salvador confirmed the death of the former sexy star.
On December 9, 12:58 in the morning, Alona passed away while she was in a hospital.
Philip has not revealed yet the reason for the death of his sister, based on the report.
