Liza Soberano Shares Closeness With the Very First Filipina Victoria’s Secret (VS) Model Kelsey Merritt
LIZA SOBERANO – Actress Liza Soberano shared her closeness with Kelsey Merritt, the very first Filipina to ever walk in the Victoria’s Secret (VS) Runway.
Hope Elizabeth Soberano or better known as Liza Soberano was born in Santa Clara, California. Her on-screen partner and also her rumored boyfriend is Enrique Gil.
The Kapamilya actress has a lot of friends in the showbusiness including the Filipina model Kelsey Merrit. She made history for the Filipinos last November 8 as she walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway
Many Filipinos were proud of the Filipina model including the actress Kapamilya actress and Kelsey’s friend Liza Soberano.
During the shoot of the ABS-CBN Christmas station ID last Sunday, Liza was interviewed regarding her Victoria’s Secret (VS) model friend.
Based on a report from PUSH, the anticipated Darna of the new generation shared that she once encouraged Merritt to try and audition for the Victoria’s Secret.
Liza Soberano expressed that she’s happy for what her friend has achieved. She also recalled that Kelsey told her that she was leaving for New York to pursue her modeling career.
“You should audition for Victoria’s Secret. I can imagine you walking on the ‘Pink’ fashion show,” Liza replied.
Kelsey responded that it is really one of her goals – to walk on that prestigious runway. “Yeah, yeah that’s the goal,” Merritt said.
According to the report, Liza Soberano just found out that Kelsey was doing the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She wished for her friend’s continuous success in her modeling career.
“I am really happy for her and I hope tuloy-tuloy. I hope she becomes an angel and gets her own huge wings in the future,” Soberano said.
Liza is looking forward to seeing her friend to have her very own Victoria’s Secret wings someday just like the VS Angels Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Behati Prinsloo among others.
