Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez reacted to the viral video of Marian Rivera in which she was singing Rihanna’s song Unfaithful.
The said video came from Party Pilipinas, a defunct musical variety show in GMA. It resurfaced on social media just recently along with Regine’s transfer to ABS-CBN.
This is for the reason that netizens are finding a singer who could replace the Songbird in the Kapuso network.
As the video of Marian singing Unfaithful went viral, netizens also made their own memes and stories about it.
It was mentioned in a previous article that a particular Page on Facebook said that Marian could be a member of Illuminati.
The post said that it is because of how the Kapuso Primetime queen sang the lyrics of the song.
In line with this, Regine Velasquez reacted as she is Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ wedding godmother.
A video on Twitter with the caption, “Asia’s Quail char” received a reply from the Asia’s Songbird.
Based on the article published in The Philippine Star, Regine said this:
“Please guys wag na, inaanak ko yun please at love ko sila so please stop na. Besides Hindi naman talaga singer ang lola nyo she’s an actress and very good one so please stop na.”
The netizen replied with this:
“Queen natuwa lang po kami sa Unfaithful version ni Miss Marian, not really bashing her though, I admire her as an actress. Peace po, Miss Reg.”
This received another reply from Regine Velasquez:
“Ok but please no more na kasi hindi natin alam baka naman na hurt na rin sya diba please napag katuwaan na naman ok na yun.”
