Most Filipino people believe that “Engkanto” or terrifying supernatural creatures usually appears when All Saint’s Day is near.

- Aswang
Filipinos believe that this mythological creature was eating human flesh and drinking blood similar to a vampire.
- Manananggal
This vampire-like creature has the ability to separate its body and usually transforms during midnight. Mananangal usually loves to suck the hearts of fetuses from a pregnant mother’s womb.
- White Lady
The lady in white can be usually seen in rural areas, which was usually linked to accidents and tragedies.
- Tiyanak
This vampiric being usually imitates the form of a newborn baby and usually cries in the jungle like one. Tiyanak attacks when their victims picked them up.
- Kapre
This Philippine mythical creature is usually described as being a tall, big, black, hairy, and muscular being that can be usually seen in giant trees.
- Sirena
This mythological sea creature with a head and torso of a human but has a tail of a fish victimizing fisherfolks.
