Tech Giant Facebook Deletes 95 Pages & 39 Accounts In PH Over Policy Violations
The social media giant Facebook removed about 95 pages and 39 accounts in the Philippines for allegedly violating policies.
On Tuesday (October 23, 2018), Facebook announced that the company removed about 95 pages and 39 users for violating spam and authenticity policies encouraging people to visit low-quality websites.
The world’s largest social media network said that those pages and accounts in the country contain political to entertainment content sharing links to advertising click farms off Facebook.
“This takedown is a small step in the right direction, and we will continue working to find and remove more bad content,” the company said.

- Duterte Phenomenon
- DU30 Trending News
- Hot Babes
- News Media Trends
- Bossing Vic
- Pilipinas Daily News
- Like and Win

- Karlo ang Probinsiyano
The tech giant explained that the company does not want this kind of behavior on Facebook keeping off bad content from the website.
The company also increased the number of people working on the safety and security of the social media platform.
