Speaking to DZMM in a video posted by ABS-CBN News on YouTube, Casas revealed that the jackpot prize winner from Samar is a middle-aged family man.

According to the PCSO official, they heard that the 6/58 Lotto winner only borrowed money to be able to get to the PCSO’s office in Manila to claim his prize. Minus the 20% Tax, he got P472 million.

Based on the video, the PCSO has the documents kept as proofs that there is really a winner of the jackpot prize. In cases of being legally required, according to Casas, they have proofs that would give the real identity of the winner.

The PCSO official expressed that the winner will be going home with a big blessing and he can pay for the money he borrowed so he can go to Manila for his prize. Casas also gave an advice to the winner.

“Ingatan ang pera, gamitin ng maayos, at nawa’y marami po siyang matulungan pa… Makapag-create ng job opportunities sa iba nating mga kababayan,” the PCSO Official said as heard in the video.
