REGINE VELASQUEZ – The OPM hitmaker and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez contract signing with new network ABS-CBN is today.
The OPM hitmaker and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez will be officially signing her contract with her new network ABS-CBN today, October 17, after leaving GMA network where she stayed around 20 years.
She is finally joining her husband Ogie Alcasid in the Kapamilya network. And as her first project and appearance in ABS-CBN, she is included in ASAP Live in Sydney on October 20.
Asia’s Songbird leaving the Kapuso network was actually confirmed by Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Content Group Lilybeth Rasonable saying, “We understand her decision to join her husband and we wish her well as she pursues other opportunities outside GMA Network.”
Emotional leaving the network which sheltered her for 2 decades, Velasquez has expressed, “I have stayed here for two decades. Maraming maraming salamat po sa tiwalang ibinigay niyo sa akin and for taking good care of me.”
And when it comes to the talent fee, there were speculations that she will have a lower compensation in ABS-CBN compared to what she had in GMA for it is normally happening to artists who transferred to another network. Probably, the singer might not talk about this matter for the public to know but a source, according to a previous report, has indicated that money is not an issue with the female OPM hitmaker.
And today, RVA will officially become a Kapamilya as she will sign her contract on October 17 which excites her fans and her supporters for this new journey in her career.
A lot of people welcomed her to the Kapamilya network and they could not just get any happier for Regine in this new chapter.
