Aiko Melendez Proud of Boyfriend Mayor Jay Khonghun’s Political Journey
AIKO MELENDEZ – Actress Aiko Melendez revealed the political journey of her boyfriend, Subic Mayor Jay Khonghun.
Currently, Kapamilya actress Aiko Melendez is in a relationship with politician Jay Khonghun. Aiko’s boyfriend is the mayor of Subic, Zambales. They were together for around a year.
Aside from being an actress, Aiko is also a politician. She has served as a councilor of Quezon City for nine years. However, with regards to the upcoming 2019 mid-term election, she is not running for a position in the government.
Aiko Melendez previously sent a statement to Pep. Through it, she revealed that she is choosing to support the bid of her boyfriend Mayor Jay Khonghun for vice governor of Zambales.

Aiko Melendez also stated in her statement sent to Pep that she has lots of works lining up to be done next year. According to her, she does not want to give only a portion of her time to public service.
Recently, Mayor Jay filed his candidacy for Vice Governor of Zambales. His supportive girlfriend accompanied him at the filing of candidacy.

Aiko Melendez took to the social media photos of her and Mayor Jay Khonghun during the filing of candidacy. Along with it is a caption revealing the political journey of her boyfriend.
According to the Kapamilya actress, Mayor Jay has been in the public service for 18 years already. He started as a board member until he became a mayor for nine years.
“Hinog na po kung tutuisin. Mag ikot po kayo sa Subic para malaman nyo din po marami po sya nagawa,” the actress stated.
Aiko Melendez congratulated and sent her goodluck to Mayor Jay Khonghun. In her post, she also told her boyfriend that she is a “proud partner”.
