The Sunflower farms have become the new booming tourist attraction in Negros Occidental because of its stunning beauty and relaxing scenery.

Sunflower farms in the Philippines are usually established in the country aiming to empower Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and gives hope to the people who wanted to change their life for the better.

Luckily, these new business ventures are now attracting more tourist and successfully rising into popularity.

The sunflower farm in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental has created a booming new tourist attraction in the province.

Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro Police Chief Inspector Alvimar Flores owns the Bucalan-CACI (Central Azucarera de La Carlota Inc.) Sunflower Farm in Barangay RSB, La Carlota City.

Flores raised the sunflowers due to his fascination with flowers and also to help drug surrenderees on their livelihood.

The CACI farm has more than 2,000 sunflower plants drawing hundreds of tourists every day from 8 am to 5 pm after they have opened the farm on September 12, 2018.

Meanwhile, OISCA farm at Barangay Tabunan in Bago City is also offering about 3,000 sunflower plants.

However, visitors must hurry since sunflowers wither within just 10 days only.
