Zero Billing For All Public Hospitals Confirmed By Bulacan Governor
Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado confirmed the zero bills for the patients in all public hospitals within the city.
Nowadays, medical attention is very important due to the spread of various types of diseases not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world.
However, several Filipino people could not afford expensive medical services prompting them to endure diseases without consulting a doctor.
Recently, Bulacan governor confirmed the free medical service in the city, which is a great relief for millions of Filipinos.
Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado said that zero billing for all public hospitals in the province of Bulacan has been already implemented.
The free healthcare program is one of the platforms of President Rodrigo Duterte aiming to provide free medical care for less-fortunate Filipino people.
The governor explained that President Duterte allocates fund to the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth to make free medical attention possible.
Alvarado also said that patients could go to his office to sign the bill if the health agencies run out of funds.
