Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 Raised By PAGASA In The Following Areas

The state weather bureau PAGASA has raised Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) no. 1 in the following areas in the country.

On Thursday (September 13, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates.

PAGASA reported Typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut) has slightly intensified as it travels across the Philippine territory.

Ompong is now packing maximum sustained winds of 205 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 255 kph.

The weather agency has raised TCWS no. 1 in several areas due to the possible strong winds and heavy rains brought by the typhoon.

    • Albay
    • Sorsogon
    • Catanduanes
