West PH Sea Forum Wants Mocha Uson Out From the Government
MOCHA USON – Netizens behind a Facebook page initiated a campaign to remove Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson from the government.
Undeniably, the viral “pepedederalismo” video of PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson and her game show co-host Drew Olivar has elicited different reactions from the people. There are those who agree that it has made the public talk about federalism while there are those who did not like what they did.
Former Senate President Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III is one of those who were disappointed by the move of the PCOO Asec. and her co-host. According to him, Uson needs to take a leave and study. The Senator is a known advocate of federalism.
Several celebrities including Agot Isidro and Ethel Booba also reacted to the move of the PCOO Assistant Secretary.
For President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, she thinks Mocha Uson should be more careful when it comes to her actions now that she is part of the government.
The PCOO Asec. has previously broken her silence on the issue. She clarified that her game show has nothing to do with the draft of the Consultative Committee (ConCom).
On the social media, a campaign to remove PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson from the government has been initiated by netizen(s) behind the Facebook page West PH Sea Forum.
In a post, the netizens stated that paying more than PHP 130, 000 to the PCOO Asec. for the “Pepedederalismo” is an injustice to the millions of Filipino people.
The netizens behind the page expressed their demand for Mocha Uson to be fired from the government and asked the other members of the online community to share the post if they agree.
As of this writing, the social media post has racked up more than forty-seven thousand shares on Facebook.
