Another Low-Pressure Area to Affect PH Weather System, PAGASA Says

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that new low-pressure area will affect the weather system of the country.

On Saturday (July 28, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather update in the country.

PAGASA reported that another low-pressure area has been spotted 100 kilometers east-southeast of Casiguran, Aurora.

New Low-Pressure Area

The through of the LPA would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Mimaropa, Bicol, and Western Visayas Regions.

The weather disturbance would also bring cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the remaining parts of the country.

Meanwhile, Typhoon Jongdari was traveling farther from the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The weather agency also warned that sea travels remain risky due to the moderate to rough water over Mimaropa, Bicol, and Western Visayas Regions.
