Over the past few months, Boracay Island has been one of the most controversial topics not only in the Philippines but also in foreign countries after the Philippine government closed the island to the tourists.

The country’s top tourist spot has been closed to the public to allow the government to restore and rehabilitate the island, which is almost polluted.

The popular tourist destination will be under six-month rehabilitation an expected to reopen on October 26, 2018.
