Kind-Hearted Filipino

A Facebook user named “Akosi Marky” has shared a heart-warming story of how he helped an Indian nation to have a new pair of shoes.

The kind-hearted Pinoy identified as Mark Ronald Melecio was at Metro Train Station in Dubai when he saw Rajkumar Kerthi, an Indian national wearing damages shoes.

Rajkumar is a loader/unloader receiving a salary of 1,200 Dirham deducting 450 for room rent and 250 for food sharing.

Marky revealed that the latter was sending the remaining 500 Dirham to India to pay their 70,000 Dirham (P840,000) debt.

The Indian’s father committed suicide in 2013 because of their huge debt.

The Pinoy worker has decided to buy a pair of new shoes for Rajkumar, who can’t afford to buy a new one for himself just to pay their debt. Melecio posted the story last March 8, 2014.

Here’s the full post:

Feeling blessed.”
