Why did Paul Salas decide to move back to the GMA-7?

PAUL SALAS – Kapuso actor Paul Salas revealed the reason behind his decision to transfer back to the GMA-7 network after years of working with the ABS-CBN network.

Actor Paul Salas is one of the celebrities who entered the field of show business at a young age. He rose to popularity when he joined the StarStruck Kids in 2004. It is a reality talent search and competition show under the GMA-7.

Kapuso stars Miguel Tanfelix and Bea Binene are among the batchmates of Paul. Just like any celebrity, the actor has also made big decisions for his career. For nine years, he was working with the ABS-CBN network.

It was just recently when Paul Salas returned to the Kapuso network based on a report. He was a Kapamilya for almost a decade and he’s linked to Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial who is currently doing a television series with actor JM de Guzman.

Based on a recent report in Pep, Paul Salas revealed the reason behind his network transfer. He stressed that he needs to be home and he is happy about it.

Speaking at an exclusive interview with the GMANetwork.com, the Kapuso actor expressed that the love and bond in the Kapuso network are still the same. He admitted that it took him a year to decide about his network transfer but his heart is really into going back to the Kapuso network.

“Yun na po yung nasa puso ko, I need to be home na ganun para maka-try naman ng ibang bahay,” he said.

Based on the report, Paul Salas is related to actors Dingdong Dantes and Arthur Solinap. They are his uncles and both of them are under the Kapuso network. Arthur’s wife Rochelle Pangilinan is a Kapuso as well.

“Sobrang excited na ako na magkasabay-sabay kami sa guestings ganiyan, kahit sa teleserye sana,” the young actor said.

Reportedly, Paul Salas signed a ‘co-management contract’ with the Kapuso network. PPL President and CEO Perry Lansigan, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Content Group Lilybeth Rasonable, and SVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara are present during the contract signing.
