Manny Pacquiao Eyes To Fight Lucas Matthysse As His Next Opponent, Confirms Next Fight On June
The Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao confirms fight in June 2018 and eyeing to fight the Argentine boxer Lucas Matthysse in Malaysia.
On Wednesday (March 07, 2018), the eight-time world boxing champion and now Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao announced that his next fight would be on June 24, 2018.
The Pinoy fighter said that wanted to fight the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse with a record of (39-4, 38 KOs), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The 39-year-old boxer was also considering to fight other boxers but there’s a great possibility that he will fight Matthysse.
The lawmaker also explained that his boxing match on June would not affect his duties and responsibilities in the Senate after extending it in June.
“Supposedly May pero sabi ko may trabaho pa ako dito so ang ginawa ko in-extend ko ng June so by June siya. June 23 sa Amerika (US time), June 24 dito,” Pacquiao said quoted by GMA.
