Here are the photos of the slain Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Joanna Demafelis’ funeral procession and her grieving family.
The controversial death of the Pinay domestic helper Joanna Demafelis whose body was found inside the freezer of an abandoned apartment in Kuwait has been the headlines of both local and international news outlets.
The reports regarding the Demafelis’ demise has prompted President Rodrigo Duterte to suspend the deployment of the aspiring OFW’s in Kuwait due to the increasing numbers of abused Filipino migrant workers.
The suspects responsible for the death of the Filipina maid has been already arrested and now under the custody of the authorities.
Recently, the official Facebook page of “Bombo Radyo Iloilo” has uploaded the photos of the slain OWF’s funeral procession.
The photos show the tarpaulin featuring the face of 29-year-old Joanna Demafelis in front of the funeral car. It also shows the employees of funeral homes transferring the Pinay’s casket from their house to the vehicle.
A lot of sympathizers had also expressed their condolences and seems to attend the funeral of the late OFW.
