The Lebanese man Nader Essam Assaf and Syrian woman Mona Hassoun, the primary suspects in killing the Pinay maid is now under the custody of the authorities.
The authorities first Nader Essam Assaf in Lebanon who admitted placing the body of Joanna inside the freezer of an abandoned apartment in Kuwait after beaten by his wife.
Mona Hassoun has been also arrested after her husband Assaf was detained under the custody of Syrian authorities.
Ma. Bonnie Bano of San Dionisio, a correspondent of Bombo Radyo International reported that the Lebanese people were condemning the inhumane act of their fellow countrymen.
Most people of the Lebanon community wants the death penalty for the couple who destroyed the image of foreign employers.
Meanwhile, the couple is now under the custody of the authorities and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will also follow the order of President Rodrigo Duterte on how to penalize the suspects.
