Richard Gomez slammed online.
RICHARD GOMEZ – The actor turned Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez gets hit by the netizens online after sharing a fake news on a certain social media platform.
Richard Gomez is an actor, athlete, and a model before turning to a politician.
And lately, his post on Twitter has been put on fire as he got lambasted by the netizens because it was reportedly a fake news.
See below:
The Tweet has indicated, “Queen Elizabeth: ‘Who Who Would Have Thought That One Day Philippines Will Get A Brave man Like Duterte?'”
Accordingly, it was from British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) but has been found out that it was taken from a fake news website britana.altervista.org.
Thus, this has then garnered different reactions and comments from the netizens considering that Richard is a public figure and a Mayor for that matter.
Here are some of the reactions from the netizens from Twitter:
Hi @1richardgomez1, this news is fake. Please be responsible in sharing. That site is not also from @BBCWorld.
You’re using your influence to misinform. It’s 2018. Please fact-check before posting.
He should watch Fact or Fake ni @Joseph_Morong sa Youtube hehehe
I agree that people who spread fake news should be banned from entering @TheMalakanyang. Let’s start with @1richardgomez1 and work our way up.
Posting this screenshot to immortalize the day @1richardgomez1 fell for a (obviously) fake news Mayor yan ha
