QC Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte Claims Former Pres. Aquino’s Times Street Gates Costs P4.5 Million

AQUINO – Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte claims that the Times Street gate that was built by former President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino has no papers.

Previously, former broadcaster Jay Sonza slammed former Pres. Aquino and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista over the planned closing of the Times Street where the former President is currently residing.

The former President is living in the house that was built by his late father Ninoy Aquino Jr. for his late mother former Pres. Cory Aquino based on a report.

QC Mayor Bistek Bautista previously clarified that it was not the former President or her celebrity sister Kris Aquino who requested for the building of the gate rather a local barangay chairman who has passed away.

Based on the previous report, the late village chief who allegedly asked for the building of the huge Times Street gate acted upon the plea of the people in the neighborhood who noticed the increasing number of protests since the then-President stepped down from his position.

Mayor Bistek expressed that only the West Triangle barangay officials and their volunteers can request for the closing of the huge Times Street gate.
