Real Story Behind KZ Tandingan & Jessie J’s Encounter On China’s ‘Singer 2018’ Exposed

The real story behind KZ Tandingan and Jessie J’s memorable and emotional encounter on China’s Singer 2018 has been revealed.

The Filipina singer KZ Tandingan has brought the social media by storm after showing her impressive singing skills on her first appearance at China’s ‘Singer 2018”.

Tandingan amazed the whole world after performing her own rendition of Adele’s popular hit song “Rolling in the Deep” at the international stage.

The 25-year-old singer topped out the international singer Jessie J, who has been the top contestant on the show during the previous weeks.

Initially, the China team wanted KZ to sing a different song, but they suggested the Pinay singer to rap in Tagalog for her first performance in the show, according to Tandingan’s management ‘Cornerstone’.

KZ Tandingan was surprised and got starstruck when she saw the Jessie J for the first time, the singer who popularized the hit song “Price Tag”.

The Pinay singer accidentally meet Jessie J who passed in her dressing room while heading to the restroom.

“The production team captured KZ’s surprised reaction and also their touching conversation afterwards… That moment, which became part of the opening scenes of 5th episode, became very endearing to the Chinese market that KZ and Jessie J became the 9th most searched in Weibo upon the episode’s broadcast,” KZ’s management said quoted by ABS-CBN.

The fifth episode of China’s biggest singing TV contest earned the top 5 trending slot on the social media site YouTube.
