KZ Tandingan Beats Idol Jessie J In This Week’s “Singer 2018” Episode, Lands On TOP SPOT

KZ Tandingan lands on the top spot in this week’s episode of “Singer 2018”.

KZ TANDINGAN – The soul singer KZ Tandingan beats her idol Jessie J in this week’s episode of “Singer 2018” after performing a jazz rendition of Adele’s “Rolling in the deep”.

Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan or popularly known as KZ Tandingan is the first ever winner of the first season of “The X Factor – Philippines”.

She was dubbed as “The Soul Supreme” after singing the chart-topping hit songs including “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” and “Huwag Ka Nang Umiyak.”

According to a previous report, the singer competed China’s “Singer 2018” fifth episode on Friday (February 09, 2018).

“Singer 2018” is China’s most popular reality TV singing competition wherein they gather professional singers from various nations over the world to compete and win the audience votes.

She is even to compete against her idol Jessie J who has been dubbed as the audience favorite for four consecutive weeks.

Other competitors were the Taiwanese pop singers Angela Chang and Sam Lee during this season. Chinese-American pop star Coco Lee and Hong Kong singer Sandy Lam are both former contestant on the singing competition.

And this week, KZ has beaten them with her jazz rendition of Adele’s hit song “Rolling in the deep” receiving warm reactions from the audiences.

Her spine-chilling performance included a Filipino rap at the latter part where made everyone’s jaw drop.

Jessie J sang “Ain’t Nobody” which made her land on the second spot.

The “Price Tag” hitmaker even applauded for KZ’s performance.

The rankings are based on the votes coming from the audiences and next week, Jessie and KZ are both set to return next week for another round of performances.
