AIKO MELENDEZ – The Kapamilya actress Aiko Melendez finally answers the allegations of filing a case against former husband Jomari Yllana.
Aiko Melendez has started her career in the entertainment industry as part of the Regal Babies.
She has done and played several roles in programs under the GMA and ABS-CBN networks.
Aiko returned to ABS-CBN for an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya and Reputasyon with Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz in 2011 and became one of the casts of the TV Series Apoy Sa Dagat costarring Angelica Panganiban, Piolo Pascual, and Diether Ocampo in 2013.
In Inday Bote is where she played the role Fionna Vargas, the main antagonist and in 2017, she played the main antagonist in Wildflower as Gov. Emilia Ardiente-Torillo/Baby Dragon.
Recalling, she has been previously married to actor Jomari Yllana but separated in 2003. They have a child named Andrei.
Lately, rumors surfaced that she is suing her former husband to which she clarified that is not true.
According to a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep), she denied the allegations for their marriage has already been annulled and everything is already cleared between them.
She said, “I like to clarify that because it’s causing tension between me and the future wife of Jomari. Walang ganun to begin with because matagal na kaming annulled ni Jomari.”
“So, walang kaso na puwede kong ikaso kay Jomari. For a fact na may nakarelasyon naman na si Jomari na approved ako dun, and now na he’s having a baby, a baby is always a blessing, why would I hinder that happiness?”
She further added that the chapter of Jomari in her life has long been ended already.
And as per the report, it is her respect to the current partner of the actor who is having a sensitive pregnancy.
