Vina Morales Expresses Support To Former Leading Man Robin Padilla
VINA MORALES – Actress and singer Vina Morales reacted to the issue involving Pilipinas Got Talent season 6 judge Robin Padilla and a Korean contestant named Jiwan Kim.
Action star Robin Padilla was recently hooked on issues after he requested a Korean contestant in ABS-CBN talent search show Pilipinas Got Talent season six to speak in Tagalog.
The said contestant is Jiwan Kim. He has been living in the Philippines for ten years and he is currently in a relationship with a Filipina. Robin is one of the judges in the show alongside with actress Angel Locsin, actor-comedian Vice Ganda, and Mr. Freddie M. Garcia.
To manage the situation, Angel intervened and offered help to the Korean contestant. She helped Jiwan talk to Binoe in Tagalog.
The move of Robin Padilla elicited various comments from netizens and viewers. There were those who supported the action star stressing that Jiwan has been in the country for a decade already while there are also those who, based on a report, have negative remarks towards the PGT judge.
The daughter of the actor, Queenie Padilla, have already expressed her side through a social media post. She reacted on the negative tag to her father and stressed that he called Jiwan “anak” and hugged him after.
Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), another person who also knows Robin Padilla defended the PGT judge. During an episode of Kapamilya Chat, Vina Morales described Binoe as a man with a “good heart” and a “good soul”.
The actress-singer requested the people to stop bashing Robin as for her, he has a good intention as a father like he has said to Jiwan. She expressed that the actor always has her support as she knows who he is.
“Very straightforward siya pero hindi mo naman kailangan yung mga nagmamahal sa kanya hindi dapat dinidibdib ‘yon kasi kung may payo lang siyang ganoon,” she said.
Based on the report, Vina Morales also attests to Robin Padilla’s kindness. According to her, he wouldn’t remain in the entertainment industry is his attitude is bad.
