Veteran Comedian Vic Sotto Reveals Truth Behind Maine Mendoza’s Suspension Controversy
The veteran Filipino comedian Vic Sotto finally revealed the truth behind Maine Mendoza’s alleged suspension on Eat Bulaga.
Previously, the Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza has been the headlines of several local news outlets and numerous social media pages after posting her “Open Letter” on her Twitter account.
After posting the open letter, the celebrity has been missing in action on the longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” prompting the netizens to assume that Maine us under suspension.
Recently, the veteran comedian and television host Vic Sotto has revealed the truth behind Maine Mendoza’s suspension controversy during the press-con for 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry ‘Meant To Beh’.
Sotto denied that the 22-year-old actress is suspended from the noontime show and said that she might be on a vacation. He also admitted that he doesn’t want to invade privacy and want to respect Maine’s decision regarding the issue.
“Definitely not. “Ba’t naman isususpende siya ng TAPE, ‘no, ng Eat Bulaga? Lalo na kay Mr. Tuviera, respetado niya ‘yang opinyon, pag-iisip, at kung anuman ang pinagdadaanan ng bawat kasama namin sa Dabarkads. So, antayin na lang natin ang mga kasunod na kabanata,” Sotto said quoted by Pep.ph
The TV host also said that doesn’t notice something strange from Maine before she left the show. It is also not clear if the Kapuso star will still come back to Eat Bulaga.
