Rodolfo “Rody” Fernandez, a one-legged triathlete sets a new record of 24-hour non-stop cycling in the plaza of La Paz, Iloilo.

Filipino people were known as the most determined and persevered people not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world.

The determination of the Pinoy gives them the strength and endurance to face and over hardship in order to be successful.

Recently, the official Facebook page of “Rmn Iloilo” has uploaded the video footage of Rodolfo “Rody” Fernandez who sets a new record in the sport’s history of the country.

Fernandez is a one-legged man considered as members of Persons with Disability (PWD) who proves that disability is not a hindrance to obtain success.

The 70-year-old man sets a new record of non-stop cycling for 24-hours in the plaza of La Paz, Iloilo. He also said during his interview ‘Do not underestimate the heart of a champion’.

His success inspired most of the people prompting the social media users to express their praises and admiration for the athlete.
