NATIONWIDE RATINGS: KAPAMILYA Vs KAPUSO Primetime (Nov. 27-Dec.1)

Here are the nationwide ratings of the respective primetime series of the Kapuso and the Kapamilya network.

NATIONWIDE RATINGS – Market research firms, the AGB Nielsen and the Kantar Media-TNS, release the November 27- December 1 respective nationwide ratings of the Kapuso and the Kapamilya network.

The ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation and the GMA Network are definitely two of the biggest media network companies in the Philippines which are also in a great rivalry.

Competition has indeed risen because of being in the same field of business.

And as per the competition, the primetime series of the respective networks compete against each other for having the same time slot.

Here are the primetime programs of the Kapamilya and Kapuso network which tends to clash with each other: FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano versus Super Maam, La Luna Sangre versus Kambal Karibal, and The Good Son versus My Korea Jagiya.

The AGB Nielsen and the Kantar Media-TNS are just two of the respected market research firms which measure the ratings of the said shows.

AGB Nielsen “uses a panel size of 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population”.

They only focus on the Urban areas alone, not the whole country.

And the Kantar media “uses a panel size of 2,610 of rural and urban homes which represents the 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population” which means they get the nationwide ratings of the programs.

However, the AGB and the GMA has stopped releasing their ratings to the public for almost three weeks already.
