MAINE MENDOZA – The phenomenal actress Maine Mendoza is among the list of this year’s Most Tweeted Celebrities worldwide.
Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza or popularly known as Maine Mendoza is a Filipino actress, television and Internet personality, writer, and top product endorser.
She had become popular because of her viral Dubsmash videos and her remarkable role as Yaya Dub in the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga!‘s “Kalyeserye” segment, aired on GMA Network.
It was also her Dubsmash video impersonating Kris Aquino that made her famous as the video reached a million views in just overnight upon being uploaded.
Aside from the said noontime show, she also received an award for Best Supporting Actress at the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival as she appeared in the 2015 film My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore.
And now, despite deactivation for several months, the phenomenal artist proved that she is indeed the “Queen of Twitter” as she landed on the fifth rank of this year’s Most Tweeted celebrity worldwide.
It was announced by the said social media platform on Friday.
She was the only Filipino to be on the list.
The top two spots were taken by K-Pop artists Bangtan Boys and Seventeen, Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello was at number three, while Justin Bieber was fourth.
The AlDub couple, the love team of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards topped the Most Tweeted-About Love Teams list and most-tweeted celebrities in the country.
