Bette Midler Calls President Duterte A “Murderous Dictator”
Bette Midler, an American singer/actress has called President Rodrigo Duterte a “Murderous Dictator” after serenading Us President Donald Trump.
On November 10 to 14, 2017, the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other related summits was held in the country to discuss some important matters.
This international gathering has been participated by 20 national leaders and hundreds of foreign diplomats including the U.S President Donald Trump.
On Sunday (November 12, 2017), President Duterte sings the popular Filipino classic song “Ikaw” by Pilita Corales during the gala dinner in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as requested by Donald Trump.
On Tuesday (November 14, 2017), the American singer Bette Midler has called President Rodrigo Duterte a “murderous dictator” on her recent Twitter post after serenading president of the United States.
“Murderous dictator Duterte serenaded Trump with a Filipino love song. Vlad, somebody’s tryin’ to steal your man!” said by Midler on her Twitter post.
The 71-year-old singer mentioned “Vlad” which might refer to the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
